Our headquarters in Nootdorp is a showcase of sustainable building. Constructed to strict environmental standards, it offers a healthy workspace for our team while minimizing environmental impact. It was built in accordance with BREEAM guidelines, the global standard for eco-friendly buildings, and earned a BREEAM NL Excellent certification for both design and performance.
The facility uses no natural gas, relying entirely on electric systems for heating and cooling. Nearly 300 rooftop solar panels generate around 140,000 kWh of renewable electricity annually, making the building energy neutral.
Office Workplace
Sustainable thinking informs our daily work life at ROMYNOX. In our office and warehouse, we rigorously separate all waste streams to ensure maximum recycling. Even the coffee we drink is chosen with care, it’s sustainably sourced, and its profits support community projects in Africa.
We’ve also gone largely paperless: there is hardly any printing, as digital workflows have replaced paper to reduce waste. Additionally, we plan our freight and deliveries as efficiently as possible, consolidating shipments and optimizing routes to cut down on transport emissions. These everyday practices reflect our belief that seemingly small actions, like recycling or saving paper, add up to significant positive changes over time.
BREEAM
BREEAM stands for Building Research Establishment Environmental Assessment Method and is the certification method for a sustainable built environment. With this method, projects can be assessed on integral sustainability.
The method was developed by the Building Research Establishment (BRE) and is now used in more than 80 countries worldwide. In total, nearly 600,000 projects already have a BREEAM certificate.

Construction of our office began on February 20th, 2022 and was completed on December 23rd, 2022. Ten months of dedication through a hot summer and into the first snow of winter resulted in a workplace we are proud to call our own.
Cleanroom
At ROMYNOX, quality starts in our certified cleanroom. Here we assemble, test, and pack critical components under controlled conditions to ensure absolute purity and safety for high-end pharmaceutical processes.
