The story behind the
romyteers of ROMYNOX

In the early days of Romynox, the company grew from a small group of dedicated employees who not only did their work but also formed a strong bond with each other. These employees called themselves the Romyteers, inspired by the spirit of the musketeers with their motto: "One for all, all for one".

The title ‘Romyteer’ wasn’t just a name; it was a symbol of dedication and teamwork within the team. New employees started as team members and underwent an induction period during which they learned about the values of Romynox. After this period, they were officially inaugurated as Romyteers during a ceremony. During this ceremony, they took the Romyteer oath, committing themselves to the team spirit and collaboration that characterised Romynox.

This ceremony didn’t just become a ritual, but also an important tradition that strengthened the bond within the team. Terms such as Romy-meeting, Romy-café, and Romy-flex became part of daily life, reminding everyone of the shared culture and close cooperation. Thus, the title Romyteer became a tribute to the values of Romynox and a lasting symbol of the strong and dedicated community within the company

Team Activities and Traditions

Romynox has its own culture, complemented by team activities and traditions. Every year, we organise a team outing and participate in trade fairs. Our traditions, such as the Romyteer inauguration, contribute to job satisfaction and make Romynox unique.

Team Activities

Three times a year, we organise a Saturday training or team-building activity, where fun and collaboration are central. Participation is never mandatory, but we naturally hope you’ll join us to experience these moments together. If you do participate, you’ll always get an extra day off, ensuring a balance between work and personal life. Additionally, every September, we organise an outing with partners. The location and activity are kept secret and are organised each year by a different Romyteer. Every year, it’s an unforgettable surprise and a fantastic get-together that strengthens our team spirit.

Traditions

Romynox has many traditions that have developed over the years due to the close bond the team has built. Examples include our weekly Friday afternoon drinks at the Romy-café, where we relax together to end the week on a high note, and the Romyteer inauguration after six months of working at Romynox. These customs come from the team itself and are cherished by every employee. Everyone contributes to these traditions and brings something unique from their own culture or background. The diversity of our team adds colour to our Romynox culture and traditions, and we greatly appreciate that.
